Comenda washers: treating your dishes and glassware right

When it comes to the non-cooking side of things in a commercial kitchen, few pieces of equipment are as valuable as dishwashers and glasswashers

This is regardless of whether you have one of these units, or both types. The surface you serve food on is in many ways just as important as the product itself, and even the most delicious meal will be poorly received if the plate isn’t beamingly clean. At the same time, to operate a business responsibly, you’ll want a unit that doesn’t use too much water or power – providing a helpful boost to both the environment and your bottom line.

Having the right mix of functionality and efficiency is therefore crucial, and when it comes to striking that balance, look no further than the Comenda selection of dish and glasswashers. Here are two great examples from our range.

The cleanliness of your dishes is as important as the food you serve.

The Comenda LC700TH-CRC

At the top end of Comenda’s dishwashing options sits the LC700TH-CRC pass through washer. It’s a heavy duty, fully-equipped machine that boasts a built-in hood/heat exchanger, meaning this product can be installed without the need of an extraction canopy. This saves you thousands on installation costs, saves on energy bills plus saves the planet!

Whilst nearly every other brand of commercial washer requires this costly extraction canopy, Comenda’s in-built hood reduces energy usage and removes steam and hot air from the system, resulting in lower operating costs and a better bottom line for your cafe or restaurant. With the CRC hood, about 25 to 30 per cent less energy is required to heat the machine’s boiler. In addition, the hood drastically reduces the chemicals going through the wash, thanks to the condensation of fumes.

The LC700TH-CRC is incredibly easy to use, with an ergonomic design and electro-mechanical controls. This makes it simple to quickly switch between the four different wash cycles, for complete control over your kitchen’s cleaning processes.
